Each year we see a number of different social media updates on our screens, but 2019 was somewhat significant. Whilst Instagram focused on supporting mental health throughout the platform through the possibility of removing the beloved “likes”, Facebook closed and launched a number of spin off services including the closure of “Moments” and introduction of Facebook Data. Twitter on the other hand has continued to advance its platform, rolling our a brand new desktop experience in July which included easy access to users favourite features and direct messages being moved to one place.
