For many, the pandemic has slowly begun to come to an end, with some businesses re-opening their doors to their employees and customers on Monday this week. Of course, there’s a long way to go by our “strive, revive and thrive” slogan has helped us get through this period of uncertainty.
We helped numerous people along the way from small business owners requesting our advice on how to keep their business growing, to larger corporations who have wanted us to overtake their marketing efforts in order to keep their business alive during this difficult time. Free Marketing Advice
When the pandemic first came along, we started to offer free marketing advice to those in need. We then extended this offer beyond our client base and began to expand our offer with small to medium sized businesses that required a little extra support during this challenging time.
We provided free marketing advice across all of our services including SEO, PPC, Content Marketing and even Web Development and Design to make sure that no business that approached us would miss out on any must-adds to their website to ensure they were able to support their own customers during this time.
Further Supporting Our Clients
During this time, we also took the opportunity to reach out to our clients to find out whether we could support them in any additional ways during the initial stages of the pandemic to ensure that they could keep their feet firmly on the ground. As a result, our teams began to pivot some of our more complex campaigns that would require us to completely re-think our client’s strategies on a permanent basis due to the nature of their industry.
We saw a great amount of success from doing this, particularly for our client Chefs Compliment’s. As a private catering service, it was important that we pivoted Chefs Compliment’s campaign to adhere to new social distancing regulations. Ultimately, the client wanted to achieve results for online cooking lessons to help maintain the businesses success over the Coronavirus period.
How We Supported Chef’s Compliments
With this in mind, our teams quickly began to react to the rising demand of home delivery, adapting the keywords we were targeting from and SEO perspective and updating any existing copy and landing pages to direct people towards this form of home catering. Since the start of the pandemic, we have seen a 65.42% increase in organic users, 63.87% increase in sessions and a 575% increase in organic goal completions as a result of our efforts. We have also seen the keyword “Virtual Cooking Lessons” significantly rise from position 101, to first.
How We Supported Big Max Golf (U.S.)
We have also been supporting Big Max Golf’s paid Facebook campaigns over this period, helping to drive greater sales through the platform through setting up targeting prospecting and retargeting campaigns to re-engage their U.S. audience. During the heart of the pandemic, we were able to outperform Big Max Golf’s competitors, which lead to a complete sell-out of their popular cart bag range. Due to this, we set up an entirely new campaign which enabled users to pre-order the products of their choice as well as a standalone brand awareness campaign which helped to build the brands equity.
eBooks & Guides
We wanted to help businesses in every way we could, so our content team went ahead and created a collection of useful eBooks and guides businesses could utilise to their advantage to make the most out of their downtime or to enhance their campaigns during a difficult time.
We wrote two helpful guides in total. One focusing on SEO and how search can help boost businesses online visibility and another based on content marketing and how it can lead to greater referral traffic.
