On January 13th Google announced its latest core update which was appropriately named the “January 2020 Core Update”. Like most of the updates we have seen in recent months, Google’s guidance has remained the same. The search engine giant reminded us that:
“…we look for signals we can gather about content and understand how those correlate with how humans assess relevance. How pages link to each other is one well-known signal that we use. But we use many more, which we don’t disclose to help protect the integrity of our results.”
