The Client

Eden’s Gate is the UK’s leading CBD health and wellness store, supplying products such as oils, gummies and creams. Operating in a highly competitive space, it was paramount that our digital PR strategy positioned Eden’s Gate at the forefront of the industry, driving greater traffic to their site to support overall SEO rankings. After an initial discussion with the team at Eden’s Gate, we collectively put together the following objectives which needed to be achieved:

The CBD industry is somewhat niche, with numerous high-profile brands competiting for the same positions within the SERPs. Eden’s Gate, however, is the UK’s leading CBD health and wellness store, providing them with an advantage over smaller, less established names.

Our ultimate aim was to gain links in high-tier, high-brow publications to improve both SEO rankings and position the brand as authoritative and credible. We also wanted to make sure that our digital PR campaigns worked in tandem with the activities our SEO team were carrying out for the best possible campaign performance across both parties.

We knew that the best way to achieve this would be to gain coverage in publications that cover lifestyle, health and wellbeing in order to get the brand in front of their target audience and further develop its position within the industry.

The Campaign

  • Our National Days content calendar played an integral part of our campaigns for Eden’s Gate this year. Using hooks such as The Euros 2020, Mother’s Day, and the period of Lockdown, we created campaigns around health, wellbeing, and keeping anxiety at bay.
  • In order to feature in high-tier publications, we created campaigns around these events as we knew that they were huge talking points at the time, to provide us with the best possible chance of our coverage being picked up by the press.
  • With this in mind, we were sure to work ahead of time to deliver unique PR campaigns to journalists we had close relationships with. This provided us with the chance to create pieces other PR’s may have only just begun working on or not even started yet, helping us to get ahead of the curve with this client.

Results.

As a result of our digital PR campaigns, we have gained coverage in Manchester Evening News, The Liverpool Echo, Elle and more.

Edens Gate has also been featured on The Sun Snapchat.
