Having seen our previous success within the online gambling and gaming sector, SuperCasino partnered with us wanting to take their visibility up a notch in order to better compete again their competitors. With minimal visibility across the site, we wanted to ensure we took an innovative approach. Our objectives were as follows:
Due to the notoriously competitive industry of online gambling, we needed to maintain an innovative approach to the campaign.
To ensure we were able to grow the visibility of the brand, we integrated a well-structured content marketing strategy to complement the Penguin algorithm refreshes, and introduction of Google Hummingbird.
We also diversified the content on the site where possible to increase overall visibility for generic search terms.
We also executed a highly targeted blogger outreach and offsite strategy to enhance the overall authority of the site.
- The site performed well online, however there was a large proportion of the market that they were missing. They did not have much visibility for the top industry terms, and they had very limited content across the site which was useful and informative for users.
- To help SuperCasino push into an increasingly competitive market, we crafted an intricate content marketing strategy consisting of infographics, guides and news articles to showcase their expertise and to capture visitors who may be looking for more information before committing to sign up.
- This was an approach that their competitors were not yet capitalising on, allowing us to encroach into new areas within the market while setting SuperCasino apart from the crowd. The content that already existed across the site was in breach of Google’s Penguin algorithm and therefore was holding the site back once that algorithm went live. Our content marketing strategy also included existing page rewrites to further improve the content’s performance in line with Google’s new algorithm introductions such as Hummingbird.
- With all of this content creation on the site, we had a lot of opportunity to outreach this to media lists to push the brand’s visibility online and build authority.
Following the rollout of our SEO campaign, we saw a 82.08% increase in goal conversions.
We also saw a 266% increase in non-branded organic traffic.
