Buds King is a leading online CBD store in the UK and EU selling a wide range of CBD products including flowers, hash, and concentrate. They approached us with the aim of growing their newly launched website which had no visibility or traffic, wanting to improve their prominence around flower-based key terms.

The Objectives

As Buds Kings website was new, we set out realistic campaign objectives that would allow us to define a benchmark for the ongoing link building strategy to improve the brands online visibility.

The Strategy.

With Buds King launching their new website only a few weeks ago, we needed to implement a creative link building strategy that would enable us to effectively increase the websites authority and fast. With a lot on the line, our timeframe was tight and required significant attention to detail to ensure Buds King could quickly begin to compete in the CBD flower market whilst ensuring we were taking advantage of the quick wins available on the website.

The Campaign.

As part of the Buds King strategy, we identified the flowers page as our main target page. We re-wrote the content from scratch, ensuring it was E-E-A-T driven and adhered to Google’s best practices to improve its visibility. We have since continued to roll out a varied anchor test link building strategy focusing on building authority around key CBD flower terms to drive relevant traffic to the website. This has improved the sites visibility for some of the most competitive keywords in the industry, helping us to meet our objectives within the first couple of months of the campaign.
