The Strategy.

As part of Spa And Hotel Breaks SEO campaign, we’re focusing on driving further visibility to key location pages to capitalise on searches/demand by regularly look at the data available on Google Trends to identify areas with trending spa-based keywords to understand where best our resource can be spent. This involved rewriting the necessary pages on the site to improve the content quality including spa breaks Scotland, spa breaks Southeast, and spa breaks West midlands.

The Campaign.

Having implemented heatmapping software onto the Spa and Hotel break site, we noticed that users were spending more time searching for hotels at a higher cost compared to those that were more affordable. We came to realise that the spa packages were listed in order of cost with the least expensive appearing first and the most expensive appearing last so updated the order of the listings to showcase higher priced spas first to improve UX. To enable authority and link equity to efficiently pass throughout the main target pages and domain, we produced a robust internal linking structure that focused on improving the sites authority around ‘spa breaks’ and ‘spa breaks uk’ in addition other key location pages. This helped to ensure key pages were indexed and improved the position of all other indexable pages within the site.
