The Client.

Megaflatables is a leading giant inflatables manufacturer in the UK. They approached us in late 2019 looking for an agency who could successfully heighten the website’s profile through an effective SEO and link building strategy. More specifically, Megaflatables wanted the campaign to focus on increasing the visibility around their core services which includes Giant Inflatables and Inflatables Blimps. With that in mind, we created an SEO strategy revolving around content optimisation and link building, with a handful of hours also allocated against improving the site’s technical SEO too.

Over the last 6 months we have optimised all the target pages including the giant inflatables and inflatable blimps pages. As part of this, we created further FAQ content for these pages to ensure all answers to frequent user queries can easily be found online to enhance user experience.

As part of the link building strategy, we heavily targeted “giant inflatables” and “giant inflatable” terms, which for the client is now ranking positions 1-2 (position 1 for Giant Inflatables and position 2 for Giant Inflatable). 

We’re now looking to create new pages as per the opportunities identified during competitor research and analysis, such as a music inflatables page, which will help Megaflatables rank for music industry inflatable related queries – a key area they wish to brand further out to in 2023.

The Campaign.

One of the recent changes we’ve implemented was the new For Hire page. We could see that their old for hire page was somewhat outdated, and decided to keep that page as a sub-page of the new For Hire page and treated it as a gallery. The new For Hire page created is more user friendly and designed in line with the brand for greater transparency, with reduction in the size of the gallery and clear-well structured sub categories and navigation. 

The technical SEO we conducted ensured the site was technically sound. We have particularly focused on reducing the storage and optimising media files to ensure the site loads at an adequate speed to further promote good user experience.


Reviewing year on year data, Megaflatables organic sessions have increased by 42% and their page views have risen by 28%. Additionally, there was a 181% increase in users landing on their Inflatable Mirror Balls page, which is one of the client’s target products. 

Further to this, when comparing Megaflatables organic visibility, to that of previous year November’s, we can see great improvements. In November 2021, Megaflatables ranked for 302 total keywords with 51 in Top 10 positions, as opposed to ranking for 375 total keywords with 75 in top 10 positions in November 2022. Nearly all of the client’s target products are within top 5 positions.
