It’s been one heck of a month at Absolute Digital Media, not least because it’s Christmas! We spent the first few weeks of December launching our client’s holly jolly festive campaigns, with our eCommerce client Boxing Day and January ad campaigns now going live. Our SEO teams have also been busy tracking Google’s latest algorithm update (the December 2020 Broad Core Update) that began rolling out on December 3rd.

Happy Birthday BERT! Around a year ago to this day, Google launched one of its greatest algorithm updates of all time. And it went by the name BERT or “Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformer”. Since its initial launch BERT has been rolled out across 25 different languages in order to effectively use natural language processing to better understand how we think and how this may relate to the searches we make via Google.
