2021 was a whirlwind of a year. As well as reducing our service offering from full-service to experts in SEO and PPC, we integrated an entirely new service altogether – digital PR. We first began our digital PR journey in January 2021, welcoming on board a team of bushy tailed individuals eager to cause waves in the marketing industry. And that’s exactly what they did. With links in Forbes, Cosmopolitan, The Daily Mail, and even several mentions via The Sun on Snapchat, we couldn’t be prouder of how the team have progressed despite the difficulty Covid-19 posed.
Take a closer look at some of our top campaigns from last year, below.
Find Me a Gift – Most Searched Celebrity Wedding Dress
Gift specialists Find Me A Gift wanted to ascertain the most popular wedding dresses of the past decade; using SEMrush our PR team analysed the search volume for the most talked-about celebrity brides wedding dresses of the past decade and ranked them in order of popularity from most to least popular based on average UK search volume.
The piece gained 63 pieces of coverage including links on Marie Claire, Bustle, Grazia and Yahoo.
PayDayLoansNet – Most Expensive Restaurants
From underwater dining in the Maldives to luxury sushi in Tokyo, have you ever wondered which restaurant in the world is the most expensive? For this campaign, our PR team took seed lists of restaurants around the world and researched the average prices of the PR/costs per head at each restaurant menu to reveal the most expensive restaurants and meals around the world.
This piece gained 38 pieces of coverage including links on Forbes, Conde Nast Traveller, The Sun, and Daily Star.
Area 52 – Most Search For US Fears
To gain specifically US links, our PR team created a campaign based on the United States most searched for fears. The data is based on 51 states and using Google Keyword Tool to analyse 49 fears, chosen from The Chapman University Survey of American Fears Wave 7 study. Those were then analysed against Google Trends data to see which fear US states were most affected by, where we also created an infographic to create a clear visual element for the campaign.
The campaign was shared on Twitter by Chrissy Teigen who has over 13.3 million followers and received coverage across Yahoo, MSN and more!
Stelrad – Britain’s Best Roasts
A British stronghold for manufacturing, Stelrad is the UK’s number one company for radiators. For this campaign, our PR team manually trawled TripAdvisor for the UK Pubs with the most reviews that mentioned Sunday Roast. These pubs were then analysed based on a series of metrics.
Each of the following metrics was given a weighting out of 100: Veggie Options, Big Yorkshire puddings, Extra Gravy, Home-Cooked meal, Choice of Meats, Real Ales, Roaring Fire, Child Friendly and Dog Friendly. Each pub was then ranked using a scoring index and given a score out of 100 based on whether they offered these things or not.
Overall, this piece received 21 pieces of coverage including The Express, MSN, Wales Online and more.
Vera Clinic – Royal Skincare Routines
For our hair and cosmetic client Vera Clinic, our PR team delved into the Royals’ skincare routines by researching TV interviews, magazine features and quotes where they talked about products used, then researching the RRP for said products and combining them to work out each woman’s overall skincare repertoire cost. Vera Clinic’s dermatologist analysed the skincare routines and offered commentary.
It gained 21 pieces of coverage including Vogue Italy, Tatler Asia, OK! And Closer magazine.
