What drives Alfie
Something he doesn't agree with even more is how quickly quality and relevance get dropped in favour of metrics
Alfie thinks most outreach advice is written for easy niches and falls apart in regulated ones. Plenty of agencies won't touch gambling, finance or adult at all, assuming there are no good sites willing to take the work, but the pool is just smaller, not empty, and the job is vetting it properly. Something he doesn't agree with even more is how quickly quality and relevance get dropped in favour of metrics. A high DR looks good in a report, but a link from a site with nothing to do with the client does very little. A smaller, more relevant site will nearly always do more for a client than a bigger, emptier one.
