Link building training for regulated in-house teams
A working day on earning authority in sectors where most of the usual tactics are either ineffective, against the rules, or both. Your team leaves able to tell a good opportunity from an expensive mistake.
What the day covers
The spine of the session. The examples and the live accounts we work in are yours.
What a link is worth
Assessing relevance, authority and risk, and why the headline metric is the least useful part.
Spotting a bad vendor
The patterns that indicate a link seller will eventually cause a problem, and the questions that expose them.
Earning links in a hostile sector
The approaches that still work when most publishers will not touch your category.
Digital PR as the engine
Why the most durable links come from work that was not primarily about links.
Internal links
The authority you already have and are not distributing properly.
Auditing and disavowing
Reviewing an existing profile, and the much narrower set of cases where a disavow is right.
Module by module
Run in this order, because each one assumes the last.
How authority works
Links, relevance and trust, taught without the mythology.
Evaluating an opportunity
A scoring approach your team can apply consistently, including when to walk away.
Vendors and marketplaces
Reading a seller’s offer for the risk it carries, with real examples.
Earning links honestly
The tactics that survive both a regulator and an algorithm update.
Internal linking clinic
Working on your own site’s structure to move authority where it earns.
Profile audit
Reviewing your existing backlinks for the ones that are doing harm.
Reporting authority
Showing progress on a metric that moves slowly, without overclaiming.
Most link building advice is unusable in your sector
Taught with your market’s constraints built in.
Search for link building guidance and you will mostly find tactics that assume anyone will link to you. In licensed categories a large share of the open web will not, the vendors who promise otherwise are usually selling something that will hurt you, and your own compliance team will veto half of what remains. Training is as much about recognising what to refuse as about what to pursue.

From a scoping call to a team that can do the work
The same shape whichever discipline you book.
The people in the room are the ones doing the work
Our trainers are the specialists who run client campaigns in regulated markets the rest of the week. That is the whole proposition: when somebody asks what happens in an awkward edge case, the answer comes from having been in one rather than from the next slide.
Link Building training, answered
Who is this training for?
In-house marketing teams, and the people around them who need to brief or review the work. We run sessions for complete beginners, for experienced marketers moving into a regulated sector for the first time, and for senior teams who want a second opinion on their approach. The scoping call sets the level.
Is the training specific to regulated industries?
Yes. That is the reason to come to us rather than a general training provider. Every module is taught with the constraints of your market built in, because the tactics that work in an unregulated sector are often the ones that get a regulated brand into trouble.
Where does the training take place?
At your offices, at ours in Dubai, or remotely. Hands-on work needs your team in their own accounts, which works equally well in a room or on a call, though a full day in person tends to hold attention better than a full day on video.
How long is a session?
Most are a single day, or two half-days if taking a whole team off the floor at once is difficult. Shorter formats work for a single module, and longer programmes work when a team is being brought up from a standing start.
How many people can attend?
Up to about twelve. Beyond that the hands-on half stops working, because there is not enough time to get round everyone’s screen. Larger teams are usually better split across two sessions by level.
Do you certify attendees?
No. We are not an accreditation body and a certificate from an agency means very little. What attendees leave with is the deck, their own worked files and a written summary of what we found in their accounts.
What does it cost?
It depends on the format, the number of attendees and how much of the syllabus you need, so the scoping call comes before the quote. We would rather size it honestly than publish a price that turns out to be wrong for your team.
Can you train our team and run our campaigns?
Yes, and a fair number of clients do both. Training a team to brief and review well tends to make the agency relationship better, not redundant. It also works the other way round: some clients train up in order to bring work in-house, and that is a legitimate reason to book.
