PPC for clinics, bought by district and by season

Paid search is the fastest lever a clinic has, which is why it so often ends up pointed at a whole city and a flat monthly budget. In this market the money belongs in the communities you can realistically serve and in the weeks when demand actually lifts, and it has to be measured against bookings rather than clicks.

    Why a specialist

Beauty PPC is not generalist PPC

Paid media for a clinic is bought against a journey that is already underway. Somebody has usually seen the work somewhere else, so the advert is competing to be the one they check and book rather than the one that introduces them. That changes the structure: tight geography around the districts you can actually serve, campaigns split by service rather than by a keyword dump, and a separate plan for the weeks when demand lifts. It is one of the disciplines on our PPC offer, run for the clinics and salons in our beauty work.

Measurement is the part most accounts get wrong here. A large share of bookings completes on the phone or inside a booking platform rather than on the website, so an account measured on form fills is reporting a fraction of what it produced. Call tracking and an agreed definition of a booking go in before the spend does, not afterwards.

    How the work runs

Set the geography, then measure the booking

We start with the map and the calendar rather than the keyword list, because in this sector those two decide where the money should go: which districts a client would genuinely travel from, and which weeks of the year actually lift. Then the account is built by service and by branch with a radius that reflects reality, and the measurement is connected before anything goes live, including call tracking, because a booking taken on the phone is otherwise credited to nothing.

We will also tell you when paid is the wrong answer, which for a clinic with thin reviews or an empty team page it frequently is. Talk to our team about which weeks of your year paid media should be carrying.

    Questions

    Beauty PPC, answered

What does beauty PPC actually cover?

Paid search and paid social for salons, dental practices and clinics, planned by service and by district, with the geography tightened to the communities somebody would realistically travel from and the budget weighted towards the weeks demand lifts.

It is managed to bookings and new clients rather than to clicks. Paid social sits alongside it and is often the better lever for a launch or a quiet month.

Where should a clinic spend first?

Usually on the service and district combinations you are currently absent from rather than on your own name, because brand searches mostly collect people who had already decided to come to you and would have found you anyway.

The exception is a new opening with no reviews and no ranking history, where defending your own name while everything else builds is genuinely worth the money.

Our cost per lead looks terrible. Is the account broken?

Possibly, but before changing anything we would check what is being counted, because a large share of bookings in this sector completes on the phone or inside a booking platform and an account measured only on form fills reports a fraction of what it produced.

Connecting call tracking usually changes the picture more than any bid change would. We would rather fix the measurement before we touch the media.

How wide should the geographic targeting be?

Narrower than most accounts have it, because the market is concentrated into a handful of districts and somebody will quite happily choose between several clinics within a few minutes walk, which means a city wide radius mostly buys clicks from people who will never travel.

For a group, each branch gets its own radius rather than sharing one. That alone often recovers a meaningful share of wasted spend.

How do you plan around the seasonal peaks?

By budgeting the year rather than the month, because demand here lifts through the cooler season, around the weddings and in the weeks before Ramadan and Eid, and then behaves quite differently through the summer when a lot of the client base travels.

The creative and the landing pages have to be ready before a peak rather than during it. We plan the quiet weeks at the same time, because those need a different answer entirely.

Should the advert send people to the website or to our booking page?

To whichever of the two completes the booking with the least friction, which in this sector is often a page built for the purpose rather than a service page, because somebody arriving from an advert is at the confirmation stage and wants a time and a person.

What the page has to carry is the proof: who does the work, where you are and what other clients have said. We build those rather than borrow them from the main site.

Can paid media carry a new opening?

It is usually the fastest thing available, because a new clinic has no reviews, no ranking history and no map position yet, and paid search and paid social can create demand while all three of those slowly build in the background.

It is also the point at which measurement matters most, since early bookings are the only evidence you have. It pairs directly with our social media work.
