Local SEO training for in-house teams in the UAE
A working day on how a business gets found in the place it actually trades. Your team leaves able to run a listing properly, earn reviews without breaking a platform’s rules, and tell the difference between a ranking that brings someone through the door and one that only looks good in a report.
What the day covers
The spine of the session. The examples and the live accounts we work in are yours.
How local ranking actually works
The signals behind the map pack and how little they have in common with the ones behind an organic listing.
Getting the listing right
Categories, service areas, hours and the detail that decides whether a listing shows at all, including what to do when an address is shared.
Consistency across the web
Keeping a name, address and number identical everywhere it appears, and finding the places it already is not.
Reviews without breaking the rules
Earning reviews at a steady rate, responding well, and recognising the tactics that get a listing suspended.
Pages that serve a place
Writing for a location without producing fifty near-identical pages that compete with each other.
Measuring what walks through the door
Separating calls, direction requests and visits from impressions, so the report reflects trade rather than activity.
Module by module
Run in this order, because each one assumes the last.
Local ranking fundamentals
What decides the map pack, and why organic tactics move it so little.
Listing management
Setting a listing up properly and keeping it accurate as the business changes.
Name, address and number
Auditing every place the business is listed and fixing what disagrees.
Review strategy
Earning reviews steadily and responding in a way that holds up in public.
Location pages
Writing genuinely distinct pages for each place rather than spinning one template.
Multi-location structure
Organising a site that trades from several addresses without cannibalising itself.
Measurement
Reporting calls, directions and visits rather than impressions.
Local search is its own discipline, not a smaller version of SEO
Taught with your market’s constraints built in.
Local results are decided by a different set of signals to the ten blue links, and most teams discover that the hard way after months of work that moves nothing. Proximity, the state of a listing, review volume and consistency across the places a business is mentioned all matter more than the page itself. In a market with multiple emirates, free zones and buildings that share an address, the groundwork is also harder than the guidance assumes, and a single mismatched address can quietly undo the rest.

From a scoping call to a team that can do the work
The same shape whichever discipline you book.
The people in the room are the ones doing the work
Our trainers are the specialists who run client campaigns in regulated markets the rest of the week. That is the whole proposition: when somebody asks what happens in an awkward edge case, the answer comes from having been in one rather than from the next slide.
Local SEO training, answered
Who is this training for?
In-house marketing teams, and the people around them who need to brief or review the work. We run sessions for complete beginners, for experienced marketers moving into a regulated sector for the first time, and for senior teams who want a second opinion on their approach. The scoping call sets the level.
Is the training specific to regulated industries?
Yes. That is the reason to come to us rather than a general training provider. Every module is taught with the constraints of your market built in, because the tactics that work in an unregulated sector are often the ones that get a regulated brand into trouble.
Where does the training take place?
At your offices, at ours in Dubai, or remotely. Hands-on work needs your team in their own accounts, which works equally well in a room or on a call, though a full day in person tends to hold attention better than a full day on video.
How long is a session?
Most are a single day, or two half-days if taking a whole team off the floor at once is difficult. Shorter formats work for a single module, and longer programmes work when a team is being brought up from a standing start.
How many people can attend?
Up to about twelve. Beyond that the hands-on half stops working, because there is not enough time to get round everyone’s screen. Larger teams are usually better split across two sessions by level.
Do you certify attendees?
No. We are not an accreditation body and a certificate from an agency means very little. What attendees leave with is the deck, their own worked files and a written summary of what we found in their accounts.
What does it cost?
It depends on the format, the number of attendees and how much of the syllabus you need, so the scoping call comes before the quote. We would rather size it honestly than publish a price that turns out to be wrong for your team.
Can you train our team and run our campaigns?
Yes, and a fair number of clients do both. Training a team to brief and review well tends to make the agency relationship better, not redundant. It also works the other way round: some clients train up in order to bring work in-house, and that is a legitimate reason to book.
