Absolute Digital Media has appointed Luke Kyte as Managing Director. Here’s what it means for our agency, our clients, and what’s next.
We’ve never been ones to stand still. Since I founded Absolute Digital Media in 2008, we’ve evolved from a one-man SEO operation into an award-winning, full-service digital marketing agency working with some of the biggest names in finance, gambling, ecommerce, adult, and pharma. We’ve picked up Integrated Digital Agency of the Year, SEO Agency of the Year, and Best SEO Campaign at the European Agency Awards. We’ve expanded into the UAE. And we’re only getting started.
But to get where we want to go next, we needed to bring in someone exceptional. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that Luke Kyte has joined Absolute Digital Media as our new Managing Director.
Who Is Luke Kyte?
Luke brings over a decade of senior agency experience to the role. He joins us from GAIN (formerly Reddico and Sideshow Group), where he most recently served as Director of Digital Services within GAIN Performance, overseeing link building and digital PR for some of the UK’s largest brands.
But Luke’s journey at Reddico is what really sets him apart. He joined in 2014 when the agency was a four-person team and grew with it through every stage — from Content Lead to Head of Operations, then Head of Culture and Business Improvement, and ultimately Director of Operations before the Sideshow Group acquisition.
During that time, Luke led a radical transformation of Reddico’s workplace culture. He spearheaded the shift to a self-managing organisational model — removing traditional management hierarchies, introducing people-centric policies, and building a framework based on autonomy, trust, and accountability. The impact was measurable: Reddico was named the fourth best place to work in the entire UK, achieved record revenue and profit growth, and reached an employee Net Promoter Score of 95. That’s world-class by any measure.
Luke is also a recognised thought leader in workplace culture and digital transformation. He’s spoken on podcasts, at industry events, and contributed to publications on how agencies can build high-performing, people-first teams without sacrificing commercial results. That combination — culture and commerce — is exactly what we were looking for.
What Luke Will Be Doing
Luke’s remit as Managing Director is hands-on and wide-ranging. He’ll be working closely with our team and clients on a day-to-day basis, driving service delivery, operational performance, and business development. As we continue to grow our client base and expand internationally, Luke will be the senior leader ensuring everything runs at the standard our clients expect — and that our team has what they need to deliver it.
His experience scaling agency operations and building teams that genuinely want to stay and perform is going to be a massive asset, particularly as we push further into the UAE and target new international markets.
Where I Fit In
I want to be clear: I’m not stepping back. I’m stepping up.
Bringing Luke in as MD means I can focus my energy where it has the most impact — driving the strategic direction of the agency, leading on new business, and pushing our international expansion forward. Louise and I built this agency from nothing, and we’re more committed to its growth than ever. Luke’s appointment means we now have a leadership team that can match the ambition we’ve always had.
This is about building an agency that’s bigger than any one person. It’s about putting the right people in the right seats so we can scale properly and deliver even more for our clients.
What This Means For Our Clients
In a word: more. More senior attention on your campaigns. More rigour in how we deliver. More firepower as we grow. Luke’s background in digital services, operations, and team development means our clients will feel the difference — stronger account management, sharper strategy, and a team that’s operating at a higher level across the board.
If you’re already working with us, you’ll be meeting Luke soon. If you’ve been thinking about working with us, there’s never been a better time to get in touch.
What’s Next
We’ve got a lot planned for 2026 and beyond. The UAE expansion is well underway, we’re winning internationally, and with Luke now leading the day-to-day, the A-Team is in the strongest position it’s ever been. Watch this space.
Welcome to Absolute, Luke. Let’s get to work.
