The Brief

Big Max Golf approached the team at Absolute Digital Media after seeing the success they had previously achieved for brands within a similar niche. To help generate the traffic the brand needed to effectively build greater awareness of the brand, we set up two campaigns. This included one which would be shared with existing customers and another which would target new audiences who had previously expressed an interest in golf on the platform. Having completely sold out of their most popular cart bag as a result of our campaigns, we then created a new set of ads which would allow users to sign up to be notified when they were back in stock, helping to drive the brand forward into a new digital age.

The Campaign

  • Created two campaigns; one to target prospecting customers and another to remarket to users.
  • Created an additional campaign to support the company’s best-selling cart bag.
  • Created a new sign-up option whereby users could sign up for back in stock notifications to drive sales.
  • Created a new page on the site to inform users throughout Covid-19 and how to “play safe” when on the golf course.
  • Design an array of ads with different assets including carousels and video.
  • Regularly updated ad copy to reflect the time of year including prior, during and post golf season to sustain consistent sales.
  • Updated the ad asset to reflect the time of year and type of play during different weathers.
