Restaurant social media marketing agency in Dubai that makes every frame worth a booking

In Dubai and across the UAE, most guests discover their next dinner, brunch, or staycation on social media before they ever visit a booking page, which is why we build every restaurant’s social media strategy around that moment of discovery. As a restaurant social media agency within Absolute Digital Media’s social media marketing in Dubai team, we plan the grid, paid campaigns, and creator partnerships together as part of our wider approach to hospitality marketing in Dubai, connecting social media and restaurant marketing with content marketing and restaurant PR. We plan each frame with UAE advertising standards in mind from the start, including how food and drink appear on screen, so every post, Reel, and Story stays live and gives people a clear reason to reserve, turning followers into covers, room nights, and repeat visits.

    Why a specialist

What makes restaurant social media in the UAE work differently

Social for a venue is discovery, not broadcast. It is where somebody decides they want the thing before they decide where to get it, which is why the craft is in the food, the room and the occasion rather than in a posting schedule, and why paid social is the usual lever for a launch or a quiet week. It is one of the disciplines on our social media offer, run for the venues in our hospitality work.

Two rules shape everything. Alcohol is prohibited in the UAE advertising standards, so it stays out of the grid, the stories and the paid creative for a licensed venue, with very limited exceptions inside the areas designated for consumption. And a creator posting about your venue is publishing advertising content, which since February 2026 needs an Advertiser Permit from the UAE Media Council even when nothing was paid and the only exchange was a meal.

    How the work runs

Clear the creative, then buy the reach

The order is deliberate. First what may be shown, because a grid built on the food, the room and the occasion does not have to be unpicked later, and a creator partnership is verified against the Advertiser Permit rules before anything is agreed. Then the organic calendar, planned around the season, Ramadan, Eid and the launches, with a bookable action on the posts that are meant to fill a table. Only then paid, which is where a launch or a quiet week gets its reach.

Reporting runs on bookings, covers and orders rather than followers, and review and comment replies are templated with you so a public reply never becomes a new problem. Talk to our team about what your feed is currently asking a guest to do.

    Questions

    Restaurant social media marketing, answered

What does hospitality social media cover?

The organic presence that makes a guest want the thing, and the paid social that puts it in front of enough of them, both built on the food, the room and the occasion.

It also covers the parts most venues leave loose: the creator partnerships, the review and comment replies, and the calendar around Ramadan, Eid and the season.

Can we post pictures with drinks in them?

Not in public content, because alcohol is prohibited in the UAE advertising standards, so a licensed venue may serve it and still cannot promote it publicly, with very limited exceptions inside the areas designated for consumption.

In practice that is a creative brief rather than a restriction. The food, the room and the occasion carry a venue feed perfectly well.

Do creators need a permit to post about us?

Yes. Anyone publishing advertising content from inside the UAE needs an Advertiser Permit from the UAE Media Council, and since February 2026 that includes unpaid promotion, so a free meal in exchange for a post is still advertising.

We verify that a creator holds a permit before a partnership is agreed, because the exposure for getting it wrong is a fine and an account suspension.

What changes on social during Ramadan?

The tone of everything, along with the offer, the photography and the timing, because daytime trade contracts while iftar and suhoor become the business.

It cannot be handled in the week before. The creative, the hours and the paid activity all need to be ready in advance, and Eid immediately afterwards is planned in the same pass.

Which platforms matter for a venue here?

The visual ones do the discovery work, because a guest is choosing on the strength of the food and the room, and the paid formats on those platforms are also the fastest way to fill a quiet week.

We would rather run two properly than six badly, and we will tell you which two your venue should be on.

Do you handle reviews and comments?

Yes, and we template the replies with you first, because a public reply is a public statement and a well meant answer about an allergy or an incident can create a bigger problem than the original comment.

Reviews also feed local search and the assistants, so a consistent way of asking and replying is worth more than a campaign.

Should we start with paid or organic?

Both, but weighted to what you need: paid social is the lever for a launch or a quiet week, while organic is what makes a guest choose you over the venue next door once they have found you.

Social pairs directly with our SEO for Hospitality work, because social creates the want and search catches it.
